Aleah Rose Johnson Death and Obituary, Victim Identified in Windsor Heights Fatal Homicide

According to police, Aleah Rose Johnson, of Windsor Heights, suffered a gunshot wound late Monday September 5th 2022. it was reported that Johnson was shot inside of a car. She was treated at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, where she died.

Johnson was dropped off by a private vehicle after being shot at another location within the city. Police have arrested two people in connection with the homicide.

Malik Deangelo Henderson, 22, of Des Moines, is charged with second-degree murder, the felon was in possession of a firearm and some controlled substance (marijuana). The other arrest made was on Kha Len Richard Price Williams, 24, of Des Moines who was found with the possession of similar weapon.

Police believe the victim was in a vehicle with Henderson, Price Williams and another person when Henderson discharged a firearm, striking the victim.
