Alix Trask Death and Obituary, 32-year-old Pedestrian killed in Wednesday Night New Braunfels Fatal Vehicle Strike

Alix Trask, of Cibolo, Texas, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle strike in Comal County.

Trask, 32, was killed after she was struck by a vehicle near San Antonio Wednesday night.

According to reports, Trask was on-foot on TX-46 in the area of New Braunfels, when she was struck by a passing vehicle operated by a 29-year-old woman from Seguin.

The driver was uninjured in the collision.

Trask was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.

No one was cited at the scene.

According to public records, Trask was arrested earlier in the day in Cibolo on a charge of Criminal trespass.

The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.

On September 7, 2022, at approximately 8:45pm, the New Braunfels Police Department and the New Braunfels Fire Department were called to the area of State Highway 46 South at Krause Lane for a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic accident.

Officers arrived on scene and found that an adult female had been walking in the right-hand lane of travel on inbound Hwy 46 South (towards New Braunfels) when she was struck by a vehicle.

Paramedics arrived on scene and immediately attempted life saving measures, but the victim succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Guadalupe County Justice of the Peace for Pct. 2 Sheryl Sachtleben. The victim has since been identified as 32-year old Alix Trask of Cibolo and next of kin has been notified.

The driver of the vehicle, a 29-year old female from Seguin, was uninjured in the incident. She immediately stopped following the collision and cooperated fully with the investigation. No charges are expected to be filed.

The NBPD Traffic Unit responded to the scene and had portions of Hwy 46 South closed in that area for approximately 3 hours while they conducted a full accident reconstruction investigation
