Brevard County; Woman Killed After ATV Crashes In Saint John’S National Wildlife Refuge
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving an ATV in Brevard County.
The crash happened just after midnight on Saturday near Port St. John Parkway and Golfview Avenue.
Troopers said a driver and passenger were traveling westbound on a dirt path within the Saint John’s National Wildlife Refuge when the driver lost control of the ATV while attempting to navigate up a hill.
The driver, a 29-year-old male from Mims, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The 18-year-old female passenger was transported to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
