Curtis Alvis Ware Death and Obituary, 66-year-old Man Identified as Victim of Inglenook Fatal Shooting

The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation after an incident which occurred Thursday September 22, 2022 in the Inglenook community.

At approximately 8:46 a.m., Birmingham dispatchers received a 911 call reporting a person down in the 4100 block of 43rd Avenue North.

East Precinct officers responded to the scene where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police identified the victim as 66-year-old Curtis Alvis Ware of Birmingham. Currently, there is no one in custody.
