Francisco Lopez Death and Obituary, Victim Identified in Fatal Northbound Interstate Crash

Authorities with the Georgia State patrol have identified the person killed in an interstate car crash on Sunday 4th 2022 around 6:30am.

Troopers around the area responded to the call where a grey Acura TLX was travelling north on the interstate 85 northbound near marker 49.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck a disabled Peterbilt tractor-trailer stopped on the right emergency lane. The driver of the Acura vehicle was pronounced dead immediately on spot. He was later identified as Luis Francisco Lopez, age 23 of Riverdale.

At this time, authorities have not confirmed if any other factor contributed to the accident
