Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu’s mother, Indira Devi, has died in Hyderabad due to health problems. At 4 a.m. Wednesday, she took her last breath. According to multiple media reports, the actor’s mother has been suffering from age-related health issues for several days and has been taken to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad.

Indira Devi’s remains will be kept at Padmalaya Studios from 9am to 12pm for their final tribute. Her funeral will be held at Maha Prasthanam later in the day.

“Smt. Ghattamaneni Indira Devi, wife of veteran actor Krishna and mother of Mahesh Babu, passed away recently. She has been suffering from illness for a long time.

Her body will be kept at Padmalaya Studios For fans to visit at 9am this morning, after which the final ceremony will be held at Maha Prasthanam,” Mahesh Babu’s family said in a statement.

Mahesh Babu fans expressed their sadness at the passing of the actor’s mother. “RIP #indiramma garu soul, stay strong, Annnaya @urstrulyMahesh is always with you, hard to accept the truth given where Mahesh Bab is now,” one fan tweeted.
