Two people riding the same motorcycle were killed Saturday when they ran into the back of another motorcycle on Interstate 24.

At about 4:23 p.m., the motorcycles were traveling westbound near mile marker 11, according to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report obtained by Clarksville Now.

The first motorcycle, a 2020 Suzuki GSX, ran into the back of the second motorcycle, a 2022 Suzuki GSX, the THP report said.

Each motorcycle had a driver and passenger.

The driver and passenger of the first motorcycle – Lennon Roberts, 42, of Kentucky, and Dianne Hinds, 45, of Georgia – were killed in the crash. The driver and passenger of the second motorcycle – a 37-year-old and a 36-year-old, both from Tennessee – were not injured.

THP, Clarksville Police and Clarksville Fire Rescue responded to the scene.
