Montcalm County; Man Killed After Being Ejected From Vehicle In Mid-Michigan Crash

A 26-year-old Alma man is dead after he was ejected from his vehicle in a crash early Saturday morning, police say.

Michigan State Police responded to the single vehicle crash at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, on McBride Road in Montcalm County, according to a tweet by MSP.

Police say the 26-year-old was traveling east on McBride’s Road when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the roadway, and was ejected from the vehicle.

Investigators believe speed and alcohol were factors in the fatal crash, according to MSP.

Montcalm County EMS assisted at the scene of the crash.
