Nicholas Fox Death and Obituary, Sick Pedestrian Victim Crushed by Multiple Vehicles
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department is searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian Friday morning on Interstate 70.
Investigators said a Kia Sorento was traveling eastbound on I-70 at Interstate 435 when the passenger sitting behind the driver got sick.
The driver of the Kia pulled over to the right shoulder of the roadway and rolled down the window for the passenger. The driver told police the passenger, for unknown reasons, climbed out of the car.
Police said while the passenger was standing in the roadway, the individual was hit by at least two vehicles.
On Monday, police identified the victim as 22-year-old Nicholas Fox. He was a resident of Independence, Missouri.
The first vehicle did not stop at the scene. Police are working on learning more about this individual.
