As TikTok couples continue to fall around us, social media sensation Noah Beck and Dixie D’Amelio of “the first family of TikTok,” have stayed strong and proven they’re in it for the long haul.

Since officially announcing their relationship in October 2020, the couple has been known to show off their love on social media throughout the years, as well as stand up for each other when faced with haters.

They’ve even made multiple appearances on Dixie’s family’s Hulu series, The D’Amelio Show.Dixie is setting the record straight when it comes to her and Noah’s relationship.

The pair were rumored to have broken up, with Noah not attending Dixie’s 21st birthday party further fueling the gossip.

Speaking to PEOPLE on the red carpet at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, the TikTok starlet said “As we’ve said like a million times, we’ve decided to take our relationship off social media.

“D’Amelio explained that the decision is “better for our mental health,” as social media “obviously” causes “a lot of drama no matter what we do.

On Thursday, one day before Dixie’s 21st, Noah took to Twitter to address recent internet backlash and explain the reason why he was not with his girlfriend on her birthday.

Work has held me back from attending the fun in Vegas. A lot of the work that is done behind the scenes, the stuff that makes all this other stuff possible,” he wrote in a lengthy statement.

“As consumers of our content, please stop assuming the worst between us. We are both very hardworking and we understand that with being or striving for success, comes a lot of sacrifice.
