Richard Williams; Brooklyn Man Arrested For Deadly Hit-and-run Of 77-year-old
A Brooklyn man was recently arrested and charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident on April 24, 2021. The deceased, identified as 77-year-old Marguerite Iskenderian, was struck by a white BMW X5 as she crossed Nostrand Avenue at Campus Road.
53-year-old Richard Williams was taken into custody following an extensive investigation by the NYPD Collision Investigation Squad. Williams now faces charges of criminally negligent homicide, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, and leaving the scene of an accident with a serious injury.
Ms. Iskenderian was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital due to the trauma sustained during the collision. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence in the case.
