Richard Paul Coyston Obituary, West Marin Motorcyclist Killed In Crash Identified
A motorcyclist killed in a collision in West Marin has been identified, the county coroner’s office said Monday.
Richard Paul Coyston, 60, of Forestville, was traveling southbound on Highway 1 near Fairfax-Bolinas Road just after 1 p.m. on Saturday when a driver traveling northbound reportedly turned left in front of him, according to coroner’s office.
Coyston was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital with injuries. Authorities identified her as Barbara Boucke, 83, of Stinson Beach. Police do not suspect intoxication as a factor.
A second motorcyclist traveling in Coyston’s group also was injured when he struck debris from the crash.
An autopsy and forensic toxicology testing is planned.
