Ron Johnson; Suspect Behind Several Scam Deals Identified in St. Louis; Police Seek More Scammed Victims

The St. Charles Police Department is asking anyone who has had any business dealings with 54-year-old Ron Johnson of St. Louis and believe they have been scammed out of money to contact them.

St. Charles Detectives began investigating reports of scams involving Ron Johnson in August 2021 to now. During that time detectives have identified numerous victims, some from out of state, who have collectively been scammed out of approximately $300,000.

The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has issued charges of Stealing over $25,000, several counts of Forgery and Stealing over $750. Ron Johnson is currently being held at the St. Charles County Department of Corrections on two $75,000 cash only bonds.
