Tyrell Brown Obituary, 18-year-old Identified As Victim Of Deadly Shooting In North Charleston

The Charleston County Coroner Office on Thursday identified the man killed in a shooting on Parana Street as 18-year-old Tyrell Brown of North Charleston.

Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal says Brown died shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Trident Medical Center.

North Charleston Police responded to the 5600 block of Parana Street following a shooting at around 4 p.m. where they found Brown suffering from a gunshot wound, according to NCPD. He was transported to the hospital by EMS and pronounced dead.

NCPD did not immediately announce any suspects who had been identified or arrested.

The police department and coroner’s office are continuing to investigate the deadly shooting.
